Denise Martinez, CPA Tax and Accounting Manager denisem@accuratebookkeepingservice.com Denise is a 1997 graduate of the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She helped start Accurate Bookkeeping Services in 2006 and is the current manager of operations. Denise has experience in a wide variety of industries including health care, real estate, service and not for profit organizations.  Her experience includes individuals, LLC's,  partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations and tax-exempt entities. Denise is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Denise resides in Clinton, Ohio with her husband Jay and their children Malea and Brandon.
Alauna Redfern Bookkeeper alaunar@accuratebookkeepingservice.com After attending Kent State University, Alauna started working for a local firm in 1976 where she honed her skills with debits and credits and has enjoyed making the books balance ever since.  "Bookkeeping is the one area in life where there must be balance which is why I made it a career." Alauna's bookkeeping experience covers a wide variety of industries including not for profit organizations, retail, service and professional organizations.  Her of expertise is maintaining the accounting records to be "CPA ready" for all financial and tax needs. Being part of an outsourced accounting team is especially gratifying to Alauna due to the variety of clients and the diversification of the businesses; each is unique with specific accounting needs making each job interesting and challenging. A life long resident of the area, Alauna lives in Cuyahoga Falls near her son and grandson.
Elizabeth Sheller Bookkeeper lizs@shields-blice.com Liz began her professional career in 1979 by working for the family business after graduating from Norton High School.  After ten years of bookkeeping duties, she took over as owner/operator of the family business where she continued until 2002.  In 2002 Liz received her Associates Degree in Accounting from the University of Akron, Wayne College branch.  She enjoyed her studies and decided to continue on to a bachelors degree which she obtained from the University of Akron in 2007 and she is currently sitting for the CPA exam.  Liz resided in Doylestown with her husband Jerry and her dog Whoopi.  She enjoys camping, fishing, gardening, crafts, football, baseball, IRL and NASCAR racing.
Derek Kriebel, IAR Derek is a 1997 graduate of Stark State Technical College with an Applied Associate Degree in Accounting. He is currently completing his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting at the University of Akron. He joined Shields, Blice & Co. in 1999 as a staff accountant. Derek was promoted to Vice President of Alliance Financial Services in 2001. He currently holds several professional licenses which include; NASD Series 7 Registered Representative Stockbroker license, NASD series 63 license, and life and health insurance license. He is also a licensed mortgage loan officer. Derek has extensive knowledge in a variety of financial responsibilities. His experience includes business consulting, financial plan preparation, income tax preparation; individual, corporate and partnership. His recent experience is primarily focused on providing investments and employee benefit advice and implementation strategies to clients of Shields, Blice & Co. He also offers loan origination services for individuals and businesses. Derek resides in Manchester, Ohio with his wife Kathy and son Chris. In his spare time he is an avid fitness enthusiast and martial arts instructor.
